A theory should show you where it can break.

The book does not claim to solve the hard problem of consciousness. It does not claim that intelligence entails experience, or that experience entails intelligence.

Definitions, theorems, and postulates are kept in separate registers. The central bridge from coherent spread to felt experience is stated openly as a postulate — not smuggled in as a result.
